More and more it seems we are hard pressed just to get a quick post out before an avalanche of more fun pictures buries the last two weeks. Not that this is something to complain about of course because lately it seems the weeks are overflowing with great climbing, friends and family.
Over Memorial Day weekend, Robyn and I drove the back roads to my parents place “Night Hawk” outside of Halfway, OR. We were joined by my uncle Tony and aunt Lori, for days filled with hiking, yard projects, and exploring followed by nights of craft beers, wine verticals and deluxe meals.
A highlight of the weekend was certainly going climbing with my parents. Climbing has shaped our lives in the last 4 years more than any other activity. Despite this, it’s impossible to convey what it means to us or even start to describe the feeling to others who have never been. It was a real treat to finally get out with my folks and share time with them on the rock.
So rad to see the elder Davis’s crushing!!!!
love this post on so many levels, can’t wait to visit Night Hawk!
